Comment choisir le bon équipement de soccer

Position du joueur

Your position on the field will help determine what type of shin guards you need to protect yourself from tackles, knocks, and kicks.

Défenseurs: Players on defence typically require a shin pad that has the ultimate level of protection. Excellent shin coverage and extra ankle protection helps soccer players defend against offensive attacks.

Milieux de terrain: Midfield players need shin guards that are durable enough for defensive play and flexible enough for offensive attacks. A rounded shin guard will offer the best of both worlds – solid protection and a lightweight design.

Attaquants: For forwards, speed and agility is key. Look for lightweight shin guards that don’t compromise on protection. Minimalist design and lightweight pads will enable forward to be quick on their feet.

Gardiens de but: Goalkeepers typically do not engage in as much physical contact as other positions, so their needs are different. Look for lightweight shin guards that offer minimal interference. Like forwards, this lightweight protection will keep goalies agile and quick on their feet.

Protège-tibias avec chevillières : Added ankle protectors on shin guards provide high coverage protection and are recommended for all players at any skill level. Enhanced padding on both sides of the foot helps shield it against kicks.

Protège-tibias simples : Slip-ins offer lightweight, basic protection without stirrups or closures, providing better mobility and allowing the foot to have a full range of motion. They come with a set of compression sleeve that help hold the slip-ins in place, but do not offer any ankle protection.

Semelles à crampons ou lisses?

If you are deciding between cleats or flat soles, use the playing surface to help you determine the best fit for peak performance. If you are playing on natural surfaces, look for shoes with non-detachable rubber or hard plastic cleats to maintain ideal footing and control.

If you are playing on turf, look for shoes with rubber soles that allow optimal grip and quick maneuvering. For indoor games, shoes with gum outsoles provide great traction without marketing up floors.
